The centre

NHT EUROPE centre is specialized in hair transplantation and medical treatments but also offers beard transplants, eyelash and eyebrow implantations.

Our centre is located in Avignon. It is made up of an experienced, competent team with excellent know-how.

In 2019, our NHT centre hosted the WFI World Congress on Hair Transplant. On this occasion, surgeons from all over the world (Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Israel, China, South Korea, Japan, Australia, USA) met in Avignon, within our establishment.

Thanks to the skills of our team, the know-how of our practitioners and the equipment available to our centre, we offer various medical and surgical treatments:

Surgical treatments:

• FUE: Follicular Unit Excision: In recent years there have been many improvements in hair transplant procedures. FUE (Follicular Unit Excision) has become the benchmark procedure ahead of FUT (strip procedure). The robotization that appeared in France in 2014 has continued to improve and the latest version IX of the Artas robot is much more efficient than the previous ones.
• Artas robotic FUE: Artas robotic technology is unique in the world and is a real innovation in the field of hair restoration. Alopecia, which affects a large number of people today, both men and women, can be treated with this new technology. The results are natural and definitive, Artas allows a simple, effective, and almost painless procedure.
• FUE long hair: In order to provide a definitive and aesthetic solution to hair loss, there are now many hair transplant techniques. The technique of micro grafts or follicular units with long hair (FUE LONG HAIR) is one of the techniques that we practice, at our centre NHT Europe. It is more delicate to carry out and takes longer but renders the surgery invisible and an immediate resumption of professional activities. A great expertise of FUE is essential.
• FUE limited shaving: this technique allows the implants to be harvested without any visible shaving of the scalp, either in the sampling area or in the implantation area. This is a considerable advantage, as it allows an almost immediate resumption of socio-professional activities, with complete discretion.

Medical treatments:

• DNA sampling: DNA sampling allows us to know the genetic predisposition to treatments for alopecia. We collaborate with independent European laboratories specializing in genetic analysis, which offer genetic tests to screen for the predisposition to develop genetic baldness in the future.
• Conventional treatment + PRP: in the treatment of hair loss, PRP will make it possible to treat hair loss by stimulating the hair follicles and the scalp while promoting hair growth. As a result, you get denser, thicker hair. This is a very reliable method.
• Hormonal treatments: The role of androgenic hormones has long been recognized in the development of baldness, whether in men or women going through the menopause.
• Photobiomodulation: LLLT is one of the treatments for hair loss. Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT), also called photobiomodulation, is the application of low-energy light, produced by either laser diodes or by LEDs. LLLT is used in several medical fields such as acne treatment, facial rejuvenation, wound healing and more recently in combating hair loss.
• Food supplements: "We are what we eat", this sentence is now known to all.

And for good reason… each food has an impact on new hair follicles. By carefully selecting foods that are useful for hair growth, you can give yourself the opportunity to improve cell regeneration. It also helps to reduce the postoperative recovery period.

The medical team:

The medical team is made up of doctors, plastic surgeons, including one who is a former professor of microsurgery diploma from the University of Montpellier and a former teacher of the French society of plastic and aesthetic surgery and hand surgery. He has been practicing scalp surgery since 1985 and has been able to follow all its evolutions over more than thirty years.

The Doctor, Director, of the centre is a graduate in Plastic and Aesthetic Reconstructive Surgery and has been practicing scalp surgery since 1985.

He is a member of the ISHRS and World FUE Institute and organised the World Congress in 2019 in his centre in Avignon.

Other experienced aesthetic doctors have joined the team this year.

Several people (nurses and nursing assistants) make up the medical staff and actively participate in the surgeries.

This team is strictly made up of qualified people with state nursing or nursing assistant diplomas.
